Campeche Hotels
The Castelmar hotel (mentioned in the Reforma review, p. 274) has been totally (and attractively) redone, and now runs about M$800 a night, which is a good price for a place with a pool.
Hotel Lopez (p. 274) has a pool now as well, making it excellent value.

My sister & I stayed at the Castelmar Hotel last summer. The 2nd floor (1st floor/Mexican count) double bedded room was spotless, decorated with local flavour (not blandly North American at all) with a lovely marble bathroom and wonderful multiple opening double doors to a furnitured and plant-potted open hallway. About $90 US. Absolutely recommended.
